Fa Yuen Street is an open market located in Mong Kok of Hong Kong. The publication "我是街道觀察員——花園街的文化地景" showcases the structures and spatial tactics of 3x4 inches hawker stalls at Fa Yuen Street open market in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.
The infographics explore how hawkers maximize business within a bounded space, reflecting street culture and vernacular knowledge. Commissioned to create the infographics, I used research from Hong Kong Polytechnic University Information Design Lab to amplify cognition of hawker stalls' structures and daily operations, providing a captivating journey for audiences into these versatile small spaces.
